Junior Purchaser / Administrator - Full Time

We are currently representing our client, the UK's largest and specialist supplier of commercial vehicle products. They have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant / Administrator to join their head office based in Buntingford, Hertfordshire.

Duties will include:
-Supporting the Purchase Manager
-Checking and confirming order acknowledgements from suppliers
-Chasing overdue orders and acknowledgements
-Updating and maintaining the Sage system
-Liaising with sales to advise of updated delivery dates for parts on back order
-Building part numbers
-Dealing with emailed requests from the Sales department in a timely and efficient manner
-A small part of the role will also be assisting the e-Commerce department with creating, managing and maintaining online listings, including descriptions, images and pricing.

The ideal candidate will:
-Ideally have previous purchasing experience (although not essential, training provided)
-Possess excellent communication skills
-Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
-Ideally have some knowledge of selling on online marketplaces (although not essential)

Benefits Offered:
-Pay £17-22,000 depending on experience
