The Account Specialist role is responsible for building long term relationships with key clients to maintain and -develop business to be able to place candidates on an ongoing basis with a view to secure gross profit for the desk and branch. The Account specialist will undertake the complete recruitment sales process by making the right match for our external clients using a variety of methods to source the appropriate candidates for flex and perm roles within specific and target markets.

Working for our Cardiff Business Support branch you will be joining a very competent, supportive and award winning branch and award winning team:

* you will be responsible for the delivery the high calibre service our clients and candidates have come to expect on a daily basis.
* you will play a vital part in securing the best candidates for our clients, there is a diverse nature to the skills, experience, location and requirements you will work with each.

Priorities for the role include:

* to conduct market research, telemarketing, mailing activities and client visits in order to build and maintain a database of clients and prospects within the Randstad market approach.
* to undertake a thorough review of the client's requirements to ensure a detailed understanding of their specific needs to ensure client relationship is maintained.
* to utilise a variety of methods to source appropriate flex-workers/candidates and to carry out registration, assessment of skills and referencing.
* to be client facing - meeting clients for service reviews, to ensure you understand the team, department, ethos and culture to recruit the best talent for them.
* to manage flex-workers/candidates by staying in regular contact, and on assignment or during their probationary period for permanent appointments.
* be the main point of contact for any queries relating to client or candidate.
