Are you looking for a new challenge where you will be able to work with different children offering a variety of support including 1:1, small group and whole class support?

One of our primary schools in Crawley is looking for a teaching assistant to join them from after May half term to work in their KS1 classes. This role is 5 days a week, term time only and will be until July, with the possibility of it being extended for the right candidate.

Some assessments and evaluations on progress levels of learners.
Working 1:1 with learners who need additional support.
Supporting class teachers with classroom management issues, also setting up activities, preparing resources, and helping children on an individual basis.
Running intervention programmes for small groups or individual children.
Managing behaviour in all lessons and around school.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:

Relevant child care experience.
Previous experience working with children with special needs or behavioural difficulties
Be able to provide a child care reference
Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
Eligibility to work in the UK
