Year 5 Teacher

Are you a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher looking to utilise your career and put your teaching experience into new practice? Do you have proven solid experience of teaching a Year 5 class in mainstream Primary? Brilliant! We are hoping to appoint a Qualified Teacher into a lovely school in the Bradford area who are keen to interview passionate individuals to start as soon as possible and continue until the end of the academic term.

The role will include:

* Develop and implement an environment and programme of learning for each child in your class ensuring that each child reaches their own potential.
* Organise the class, its resources, pupil groupings and displays to provide a stimulating learning situation.
* Promote the general progress and well being of all children in the school and specifically those pupils allocated as your immediate responsibility.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver a curriculum as defined by the Headteacher and relevant policy documents.
* To mark according to the schools marking policy.
* Teach, according to their educational needs, the pupils assigned to you.
* Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of teaching strategies employed.
* Systematically assess and record the progress of pupils and use such assessment in their teaching and in reporting to parents.
* Keep up to date with current educational philosophy, methodology, research etc. and implement new ideas where appropriate.
* Participate in schoolteacher appraisal through personal development and curriculum development reviews.
* Co-ordinate and supervise the work of non-teaching staff providing support within your classroom.
* Support the Senior Management Team in the implementation of all procedures and policies as stated in School Policy documentation.
* Undertake any other professional duties as agreed and required by the Headteacher in directed time.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding any issues.
* Follow the school policies regarding safeguarding of pupils at all times.
* Prepare extra activities when necessary.
* Ensure an understanding of different learning styles within the classroom.

The successful applicant will need to be QTS, experience of Teaching Year 5 or 6 previously and can demonstrate the ability to provide engaging, stimulating and interactive lessons on a daily basis. Along with the following personal skills and attributes:
