A successful construction group near Hastings are recruiting for an experienced Land Buyer / Manager. The successful Land Buyer will work for this developer / contractor and be based out of their Hastings Office. You will strengthen their land buying team throughout the region and be responsible for securing land deals in the Sussex, Kent and wider Surrey / London area. The ideal Land Buyer will have some contacts within these regions and will be able to 'hit the ground running'.

This Land Buying is permanent, and will pay a basic salary of circa £45,000 basic p.a. plus a comprehensive benefits package which includes an excellent bonus scheme, car or allowance, pension etc

The successful Land Buyer will play a key role in identifying and acquiring land for residential development. The Land Manager will have the ability to build relationships with land owners and local authorities in order to negotiate and agree terms at a commercially viable rate. Successful candidates will be responsible for identifying and securing long term option agreements for strategic sites, managing the promotion of the sites through the local plan process, undertaking viability exercises on the sites and managing up to outline planning permission stage.
