Land Buyer, Northampton

A prestigious housebuilder in the Midlands are currently looking for an experienced Land Buyer based in Northampton.


- Competitive salary (£65,000 to £75,000) per annum

Duties will include:

- Working closely with the Regional Director to manage the Land and Planning department within the region

- Actively manage land purchase activity and be responsible for maintaining the regions land portfolios and schedules

- Source and manage new land opportunities within the region

- Lead on negotiations and formulae offers to pursue land opportunities in order to meet the Division and Group's land requirements, within annual budgets and forecasts

- Responsible for all projects from the initial identification, appraisal and approval through to the point of purchase and implementable planning consent being obtained

- Build and maintain relationships with external and internal property contacts

- Actively contribute to the development of BBH strategies and maintain close links in this regard with the BBI divisions

- Responsible for site appraisals and ensuring that proposals are presented in line with all the policies and procedures, in a professional manner, for approval by the Regional Director / Housing Managing Director/ Group Directors/ CEOs

- Assist the Regional Director in sourcing new staff for the Land and Planning Department

- Be responsible for leading and motivating staff within the department

Please note this role can be based in the Northampton Office or the Derby Office but you would be covering both areas.

Experience of working for a housebuilder is essential.
