Working with challenging behaviour can be challenging but it is also rewarding.
Are you an individual who can turn around the lives of young students?
Do you have the skills needed to support them with their daily challenges?

I am looking for an individual who has the compassion but most importantly the resilience to work with young children who have social, emotional and mental health challenges.
Your role will be to mentor and support them on a daily basis helping them in building relationships and accessing the curriculum

Your role will require:
* Building positive rapport with students
* Liaising with the teacher to ensure all learners are supported
* Engaging with the learners to keep them on task and motivated
* Delivering 1:1 or small, group-focused lessons when required

The skills required:
* Good Maths and English skills
* A clear understanding of what skills are needed to work with SEMH students
* Patience and flexibility to deal with changes that may present themselves due to the nature of the learners
* An ability to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
