Are you a Machinist who is looking for a new opportunity to work in Shoreham? Then this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

To work in the Machine shop, operating and programming manual & CNC milling and manual & CNC turning.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



* Set and operate CNC machinery using Heidenhain, Haas and Protrak controls
* Set and operate manual milling and lathe machine tools
* To read and understand manufacturing drawings to establish material and process requirements
* Inspect manufactured components
* Liaise with the Machine Shop Team Lead on any issues that will impact current requirements and outputs
* To think about continuous improvement opportunities to improve quality and velocity
* Operate within the guidelines of the Company's policies and procedures, ISO9001 and internal work instructions
* Maintain a good product knowledge range
* Ensure that all areas, plant and equipment are kept in a clean and safe working condition and that the general area is kept in a clean and tidy state
* Comply with and promote the Company's Values
* Carry out other reasonable duties requested by management.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICIATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE



* NVQ, Apprenticeship or City & Guilds or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Proficient in CNC operating and setting
* Skilled in manual machining and CNC machining techniques
* Ability to read and interpret engineering/manufacturing instructions, e.g. drawings
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Basic IT skills
* Ability to complete required documentation and records in a timely manner. E.g. timesheets etc.
* Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
* Team player
* Willingness to adhere to all Company health and safety policies, procedures and processes
* Willingness to learn additional skills.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS, EXPEREINCE AND KNOWLEDGE



* Knowledge of the Company's products and their applications
* Ability to problem solve
* Ability to work under minimal supervision.
