Are you an experienced Surveyor, seeking your next contract in South Wales?

My client has an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join their Property Services Team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be accountable for managing maintenance work ensuring compliance, H & S, quality and exceptional service is delivered to tenants across all properties and communal facilities.


* Delivering scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance inspections on tenant properties ensuring all properties are safe and compliant.
* Provide compliance and reactive maintenance advice and practical solutions to all customers in a proactive, customer focused safe manner. Consistently deliver excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
* Accountable for ensuring effective timely communication with all tenant enquiries providing excellent customer service at all times.
* Accountable for ensuring all maintenance work & H & S activities.
* Voids - responsible for inspections of void properties both before vacation and immediately after. Accountable for ensuring any work carried out is to a high standard.
* Responsible for transfer and pre vacation inspections ensuring property works are to a high, safe and compliant standard
* Responsible for the management of Technical maintenance invoices up to the value of £10k.


* HNC or equivalent in a construction related discipline
* Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation e.g Asbestos, legionella, Gas / Electrical safety , Fire safety
* Knowledge of Regulations, and all statutory obligations in relation to existing properties, including asbestos, legionella, defective premises, CDM, HASAW, EHS, LLH&S and Riddor etc.
