job description

Marine Maintenance Engineers (Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance) Required - Up to £40,000

Are you a Marine engineer in the Navy or Merchant Navy?

Are you looking to get back to a shore based position where you are not constantly at Sea?

We could have just the job for you!!!!

With many of our clients being from a marine background (Royal and Merchant Navy) they are very interested in engineers from similar backgrounds to themselves. Marine engineers generally are highly skilled in electrical and mechanical systems as they can not rely on sub-contractors when in the middle of the ocean and have to find and rectify any issues on board the ships.

Marine engineers have very transferable skills as you are effectively working within a floating building and have experience of dealing with Reverse osmosis water systems, HVAC Ventilation systems, Boilers, engines, generators, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps and motors, High and Low Pressure Air Systems , Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Plants most of which are present within commercial buildings.

Due to this, I am now currently recruiting for additional ex-marine engineers, to join market leading Building Services / Maintenance Companies based across London who will provide a great deal of training and development opportunities to forge a successful career.

In the last year we have had a great deal of success placing Royal Navy Marine and Merchant Navy engineers who have decided to leave the Marine environment and return to a commercial environment on shore.

Our clients can provide genuine engineering career paths paying from £30,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience with clear progression into managerial positions within the companies already planned out.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have Uk recognised qualifications (City & Guilds, HNC, HND, Degree Qualified)

If you are seeking your next challenge after the Navy or Marine environments then please do not hesitate to get in touch on asking for Daniel Barber or by sending your CV directly
