A Marketing Consultant is required on a Contract basis to join an industry leading engineering and manufacturing business.

This is a temporary role, covering maternity leave and is an excellent opportunity to become involved in a busy, dynamic and international marketing group.

Job Description

* The successful applicant will be supporting the Marketing Consultant with planning and executing advertising campaigns in the Europe, Africa and Middle East markets
* Project managing & co-ordinating graphic designers to provide content to external agencies, ensuring all content is in line with company standards in time for advertising
* The successful applicant will be required to liaise with other departments including sales and engineering group
* The position also involves responsibility for planning and executing events and trade shows that promote our products and services to our target audience. The events may be in Northern Ireland or held overseas within the Europe, Africa, Middle East region
* The position involves support and development of our CRM system especially in relation to lead management, training and communication initiatives
* Other responsibilities could include website content maintenance and supporting with graphical content for presentations


Essential criteria-

* Educated to degree level in a marketing, communications or business discipline. Those with lesser or no qualification must be able to demonstrate significantly more relevant experience
* Working knowledge of the principles of marketing and marketing techniques

* Project management experience
* Previous experience working with external agencies
* Good task management/ability to work within tight deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication

Desirable Criteria -

* Experience in events support and digital marketing tactics
