Are you a natural communicator? Are you comfortable dealing with health care professionals in a hospital environment? Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity with a multinational medical and pharmaceutical company?

We're currently offering a great opportunity to join an international market leader to support their customers and partners as part of a managed-service operation in a major London hospital. If you are friendly, proactive, and articulate, you'll feel right at home in this diverse and friendly team.

The main purpose of this role is to act as an on-site representative where you will have responsibility for the ordering, receipting, picking and delivery of products to the hospital operating theatres.

You will also be responsible for the delivery and collection of products, equipment and instruments to operating theatres and you will be required to count products that are delivered to the clinical teams and count it again upon collection to validate items used in the procedures are fully accounted for.

* Comprehensive training.
* Annual bonus scheme.
* Opportunities to increase your skill set with the possibility of a permanent contract.

Hours of work:

* Monday to Friday 09:00AM - 17:00PM

Initially this will be a materials co-ordination focus, receipting products and scanning these into locations so if you have experience of inventory systems and have used scanning equipment, we want to hear from you!

* Resolving non-critical issues and the escalation of major issues to your line manager.
* Being an effective member of the managed service company providing services and solutions to NHS customers.
* Order goods and supplies as required
* Receipt goods into the warehouse and restock shelving.
* Pick and pack products as required for delivery to operating theatres
* Delivery and collection of products/equipment/instruments to operating theatres when required
* Deliver the efficient and effective operation of managed services within a hospital environment and ensure procedures are in place to respond to potential disruptions to the operation of the service.
* Liaising with Trust clinical and theatre personnel to agree resolve supply issues.
* Producing system reports and performance monitoring as required by management.
* Undertake all training as outlined in Material Co-ordinator Training Plan.
* Deliver any Concern and Preventative Action planning as outlined by the J&JMS processes.
* Ensure adherence to any policies arising from patient confidentiality, Data Protection, Freedom of Information or other local or national policies.
* Occasional travel to other sites for which travelling expenses will be covered.

* Work as part of the managed-service supply chain team to ensure all tasks are completed and targets are met on a daily basis.
* Work effectively with all personnel to resolve issues or requests from the clinical teams.
* Experience of working in a hospital warehouse or stores environment would be hugely beneficial, as would work within a hospital operating theatre environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills to quickly establish trust and credibility with healthcare practitioners.
* Experience of working within the NHS or similar organisation would be useful.
* Excellent social style and behavioural skills are essential as you will be representing a professional supply chain partner.
* Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required.
* Competency working with Microsoft Office applications, along with strong mathematical skills.
