Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Cambridge - £39,000

My client is a fast growing FM and Maintenance company with a history in Investing in its staff. Due to the award of a new the contract my client is looking for 1 multi-skilled Mechanical engineers, who can cover all the planned and reactive maintenance on site on a brand new building in Central Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have city and guilds, nvq or equivalent with 17th edition and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and excellent communication skills.

Duties will include all planned and reactive maintenance on lighting, changing strip, globes, ballasts, single and 3 phase, emergency lighting, fire alarm tests, panels, power, LV, BMS (Trend), risers, changing belts, filters, faulting finding on plant including pumps, motors, AHU's, fan coil units, hot and colds, paper work, permits to work, walk rounds, escorting sub contractors and general maintenance duties and helping other members of the maintenance team.

Hours

7am to 4pm / 10am to 7pm - Monday to Friday with overtime.

REQUIREMENTS



* City and Guilds or NVQ Mechanical engineering or Equivalent
* Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
* Ability to work in the UK
* Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
* Experience in taking ownership of a building would be an advantage.
