Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Commercial Office - London - Temp to Perm - Up to £16.00 per hour / Up to £36,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in London. I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance / Multi-Skilled Engineer to work with a small maintenance team based in a blue chip office located in London (City)

The successful candidate will be mechanically biased with NVQ or equivalent and a proven track record in building maintenance working on the following: Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings, Water treatment, BMS systems, Air Conditioning (AHU/FCU), basic plumbing and general fabric.

He or she will carry out all planned and reactive maintenance on site, including dealing directly with the client and sub contractors. This role initially starts on a temporary basis with a view to being offered the permanent position on site (After passing a probation period) The hourly rate pays up to £16.00 per hour and the permanent position pays £36,000 based on experience and performance.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - (40 hour week)
07:00am to 16:00pm
10:00am to 19:00pm
Overtime available


* Mechanically qualified (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
* A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
* Immediately available
* Multi-skilled
* Good communication skills
* Able to start immediately or at short notice
