job description

My client is an environmental consultancy who is working on a contract in the North West and Merseyside area. As part of a rolling programme of asbestos management they require the services of a permanent multi skilled asbestos surveyor / analysist to join what is one of the only consultancy firms in the UK to be licenced to use a Mobile testing facility.

Work will be based in and around Liverpool and is predominantly domestic work with potentail for commercial work if desired.

As a part of role you will be required to attend properties to carry out surveys daily and subsequently test samples in the mobile testing unit. You will also be expected to do air testing and monitoring.

This is an exciting opportunity to be one of the first in the industry to use this type of mobile lab and testing facility. Whilst also offering the option for further training and career development.

Due to the nature of this role all applicants must have a driving licence.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have a P401, P402, P403 and P404. However my client would be happy to hear from candidates with a P401 and p402 or a P403 and P404 to carry out different roles.

This role will also require the successful applicant to have experience in a client facing environment and to be comfortable with managing projects and other surveyors.
