We are pleased to inform you of an exciting opportunity which has arisen for a well-qualified, dynamic and inspirational teacher to contribute to the already thriving Music Department with a view of making a positive impact on the wider life of the academy.

The school is looking to appoint immediately, but seek an individual who has a proven track record as a teacher. You will be responsible for teaching, and working with other teachers to raise standards, ensuring Music is taught at the highest level so that even the brightest children are challenged.

This is a full-time position starting in January 2019.

The ideal candidate will have:



* QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
* At least three years teaching experience
* Evidence of leading, supporting and managing others
* Successful experience of embedding cross-curricular subjects

You will be expected to:



* Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the subject area
* Ensure that all school policies and procedures are implemented and applied consistently by all staff in the subject area.
* Have the highest ambitions for your pupils, the department, the school and yourself
* Have a track record of successful learning and teaching and delivering results
