We are looking for a diligent and capable National Account Manager with a passion for the gaming sector.

Picture this... it's September, Fifa and Super Mario Bros are just about to launch, publishers are pushing for sales and retailers demand is higher than ever - you are the "middle man" what do you do? These are the types of questions you will need to ask yourself within this role.

Your Responsibilities

* Daily liaison with Retailers & Top 7 publishers which are Sony, EA, Take 2, Activision, Warner Bros, & Ubisoft
* Analysing weekly business plans and studying key stock and sales points
* Submitting weekly business plans with commentary on key lines for each publisher
* Weekly conference calls with these publishers
* Emailing action points to each individual publishers and chasing responses
* Attending quarterly business review meetings where general business and future work is discussed and agreed
* Weekly Liaison with remaining publishers which include 505 games. (Ace Bayou, ABP Technologies, Maximum Games, Bethesda etc)
* Reviewing stock, sales, from the retailers weekly reporting
* Requesting price and marketing support for events (such as Easter Sale and Black Friday)
* Email all contacts at retailers on a weekly basis to confirm what the joint priorities for that week are.
* Presenting products to retailers outside the Top 7 publishers that could be deemed as worthwhile selections.
* Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products
* Working with National Account Admin team to ensure internal forecasts are checked and submitted in a timely manner
* Assist National Account Admin team in maintaining personal contact and rapport with peers at the retailers
* Collaborate with National Account Admin team to develop sales strategies to maintaining market share in all product lines
* Working with Retailers merchandising department to ensure orders are checked, planed and placed in a timely manner
* Attending fortnightly meetings with Retailers Assistant Buyers to ensure all parties are aware of upcoming plans, releases and promotions
* Work with National Account Admin team on requests from retailers on checking their price competitiveness and feedback to the retailers
* Assisting National Accounts Business Unit Manager with reports and presentations relevant to the retailers.


* 5+ years National Account Management/Sales experience
* Exposure to Buying (would be advantageous)
* If you are worked within the gaming/entertainment industry - great! If not you MUST have an interest and understanding of the gaming market
* Successful track record in generating sales
* Excellent negotiation skills
* The ability to think outside of the box and provide solutions
* Proven ability to build, manage and develop relationships
* Not afraid of a challenge
* The ability to adapt and work under pressure
* Being analytic in your approach
* Excellent written and verbal skills
* Proficient in Microsoft applications
