Nursery Nurse

Are you looking for a Nursery role in a community driven setting?

We are proud to be working with a knowledgeable, dedicated and supportive Nursery in Mid Essex to find a positive and confident Nursery Nurse to join their team.


This role is for 5 Days a week on a permanent basis.
This role starts in September, and will give you both support and mentor-ship throughout your time at the setting as well as a chance to progress and learn form like-minded people like yourself.

Requirements



* NVQ 3/ level 3 qualification.
* At least 6 months experience in a Nursery setting.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment criteria.
* Positive, engaging and approachable.
* To role model both behaviour and activities so the children learn and grow in the nursery.
* To work in a team, listen to other colleagues and always keep the children's development in the forefront of your mind.


Responsibilities.



* Keeping the children safe whist in your care.
* Providing activities that will enable them to learn and progress, whilst having fun.
* Follow the EYFS framework consistently and thoroughly.
* Uphold ethos and mission statement of the nursery.
* Become a role model for staff, children and parents.
* Ensuring that the children are working towards their optimum development.
* Keeping a positive attitude - praise, encourage and support the children.
