Candidate requirements:



* A basic understanding of Ofsted ratings
* An ability to safeguard effectively
* A secure knowledge of the EYFS
* An ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and children's parents
* A DBS on the update service or the willingness to undergo a new DBS check


Candidate responsibilities:



* Providing high-quality childcare to infants from birth to 5 years of age
* Safeguarding the nursery's attendees, ensuring health and safety policies are strictly adhered to
* Building strong relationships with nursery staff, children's families and carers as appropriate
* Encouraging learning through play, promoting interactive activities and getting actively involved in children's play experiences where they may derive benefit from it
* Teaching children basic life skills such as good hygiene practice and manners
