Are you looking for a new role as a Operations Technician? Do you have a FMCG background? An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Operations Technician of the highest calibre to join a medical diagnostics company based in Manchester.

The Operations Technician will be responsible for supporting across various areas of the business including; manufacturing and general laboratory technician duties, incoming/ outgoing goods, Quality Control and stock control.

The role is offered on a temporary basis for 4 weeks initially.

You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8 am and 6.00pm. You can discuss your ideal start and finish time with us.


* Quality Control (QC) testing and release
* Raw material & finished product inventory and stock control
* Technician support to the Operations and Research and Development groups in day-to-day laboratory running and stocking activities
* Pilot production, product assembly and packaging activities against Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
* Support other technical development and manufacturing projects as required
* Arranging courier collection and shipping of materials
* Incoming goods receipt and inspection

Qualifications and experience:

* Experience of working safely in a laboratory environment
* Experience of stock control
* Experience of working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
* Warehouse / Logistics background
* 5x GCSE's A-C or equivalent vocational qualifications
* You will have good spoken and written communication skills
* A background in the FMCG industry is preferred
