Our Client a Leading contractor has a Permanent opportunity for the right Candidate with Highways and Rail experience to join an exciting new division.
As a Project Planner you will require to visit site to work with the team to develop client facing contract programmes with flexibility to work in our Head Office when supporting work winning prequalification's and tenders for our Highways and Rail Division.
Key Responsibilities:Updating the Detailed Design Programme (Pre-Construction Schedule) along with our designers in assurance of providing a robust and realistic schedule that reflects the risk and opportunity that could impact key project milestonesReview and develop the preferred construction sequence considering project wide constraints to confirm the duration in the overall scheme scheduleFacilitate construction readiness planningArrange, facilitate and provide output from client and supply chain collaborative planning sessionsCost load the scheduleGenerate Earned Value Analysis from the cost loaded scheduleMonthly updating of the schedule and reportsUpdate and analyse the schedule based on the effects of Compensation events or other events which may affect the programme
Experience and Qualifications:HNC, HND or Degree educated in Civil EngineeringTechnically skilled, effective and efficient in Primavera P6 Planning softwareExperience of working in a highways or Rail project environmentAbility to scrutinise design information and provide value adding input to ensure the optimum solutions are developed for the construction phaseCivil Construction background
