Part-time Customer Service Advisor

Would you like to work for a busy customer contact centre providing a professional, high quality service to customers? If so, we have a great opportunity for you.

Part time customer service adviser (evenings and weekends)

Salary: £9,900 (pro rata - equivalent to £22,000 FTE).


Our client aims to resolve customer enquiries first time, every time. It's a role that often involves working with other departments and external parties in order to get the job done. It's also a target oriented environment where outstanding service is well rewarded.


If successful, you'll participate in a shift and standby rota, maintain accurate up to date information about changes within the business and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills. If you can do all that and strive to improve performance standards for yourself, your team and the department, the opportunities for career progression within the business are excellent.

Working pattern:

Week one - Monday to Friday, 4pm to 10pm.

Week two - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Week three - standby (Monday-Friday 4pm to 10pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 8pm)

You will manage contacts throughout the journey of incidents ensuring customers are kept informed on progress. As well as providing effective scheduling of reactive customer incidents to field staff. In addition, you will contribute to management of supply incidents and identify special needs or sensitive customers. You will also help manage call volumes by handling a variety of household and non-household operational enquiries over the phone during busy periods and out of hours via live chat and SMS.

Interested? You will be a positive team player, who has outstanding customer service and communication skills. You will need to prioritise your work and be able to work under pressure. You will also need knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
