The role in question is job share maternity cover for a Year 2 class. The position is for 2 days a week (Monday and Tuesdays). The role is to start the 5th June and is guaranteed until the end of the academic year. This is a school where creativity, imagination, empowerment and passion for learning is encouraged and rewarded. This is a fabulous community school in the heart of East Grinstead. The school in question is a larger than average primary school with approx. 300 pupils on role. The school is currently 2 form entry with an incredibly successful free flow classroom structure. The school are praised for offering though provoking and engaging lessons that reflect there broad curriculum. All students are recognised to be happy, confident and passionate about there learning journey and most children leaving the school have achieved average attainment. The school have extensive grounds and newly refurbished classrooms.

● Teaching Qualification
● Relevant teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
● Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
● Eligibility to work in the UK

● Providing engaging and interactive lessons
● Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
● Planning and preparing all subjects within the current national curriculum
