We are currently looking for a permanent Planner with experience working on rail contracts to work with a leading Rail and Civil Engineering contractor in Central London. The ideal candidate will have experience planning the work for new stations, station upgrades including platform extension, canopy replacement, car parks, bridges, structures, ticket office upgrades, and associated civil engineering.
This will be an immediate start for the right candidate. The option is also there for temp-to-perm.
Location: Central London
Roles and responsibilities:Ensure planning practices and standards are consistent across each individual projectLead the Plan for stage process including development of robust delivery plans and understand constraints and sequences Responsible for the production and look ahead meeting/process to ensure it is robustly and consistently applied across all projects Proactively produce "what-if" scenarios to identify delivery improvement opportunities or the development of mitigation plansEnsure the importance of the critical path activities and the sensitivity of the other activities are communicated to the relevant stakeholders and these are being acted on by the delivery team
Candidate requirements:Knowledge in working on rail station contracts Advanced skills on Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft PlannerAbility to communicate the planning strategy for the project to the wider team
