Plant Administrator - Permanent - Up to £33k - North London

Plant Administrator required to join a growing civil engineering firm based in North London. This is a sub contractor working on a number of high profile rail and civil engineering projects, however you will be based in their main office working with the team centrally.

You will be workign across up to 50 live and smaller projects and working on a very reactive basis providing support to the operational teams across various sites.

This is a permanent position based in a main office. Parking is available and the office is walking distance from the closest train station.

Role is paying £27-33k + package depending on experience

Working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Candidates will ideally be able to interview immediately and at short notice and start ASAP. Candidates on up to 4 week notice will be considered.

As a plant administrator you will assist the Plant Manager with the day-to-day running of the Plant function, mainly supporting with administrative tasks. Duties will include:

* Updating internal plant invoices
* Producing reports, letters and memos for the team as required
* Dealing with requests from the operations team (working with the project manager and site agents on each project)
* Taking routine phone calls and enquiries including covering for the Plant/Transport Controller during holidays etc
* Clearing plant invoices promptly and ensuring queries are dealt with accordingly
* Ensure contracts are charged appropriately for internal plant and transport
* Manage the plant damage/loss/stolen procedures
* Assisting Plant Controller in providing, removing and tracking plant hire
* Produce Jet reports for all contracts on a weekly basis
* Assist in ensuring Plant System is updated regularly in line with the jet reports

To be considered for the role it is essential you have:

* Previous experience working for a similar business, ideally wthin the rail, civil engineering or construction sectors
* Experience working within the plant, procurement or commercial teams
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to multi task and prioritise your work load
* Good IT Skills
* Ability to work on your own
