My Client has an exciting opportunity to join a small team, based in Ibstock. Working with a fast paced growing business. They are looking for a dedicated, hands-on Plant Manager to join the team.


* A salary of £35,000-42,000 per annum
* Bonus

Qualifications and Experience:

* You will need to have previous experience within the plant hire industry
* You will hold a full UK driving licence.
* You will also have previous experience carrying out any maintenance, repairs and servicing to a range of plant machinery.
* CPC Holder
* IOSH Trained

Key Responsibilities:

* As the workshop plant manager, you will be supervising the service engineers in relation to time and workloads and will have the ability to make clear and accurate decisions.
* You will need to have experience of parts ordering and effectively plan the logistics for spare parts, tools.
* Be a point of call between the hire desk and the fitters
* Yard Management
* Negotiating prices and purchases.
* Complete administration tasks to maintain accurate records. Checking and processing time sheets and inspection reports.
* Cover the hire desk when required.
* You will need to be able to demonstrate a hands-on approach as and when required.
