Plasterboard Development Scientist

£20-£25k

Leicester

Full-Time/Permanent Position

Monday-Friday 09.00am-17.30pm

Have you recently obtained relevant qualifications in research and develpment?

We are looking for candidates that are capable of contributing to the development of new products and systems through understanding customer requirements as well as technically supporting the business activities associated with cost reduction and product management.

This role is working for the largest plasterboard manufacturers in Europe, we are always looking to improve and better the quality of our products. This is why we are looking for Development Scientists to research and deveop to find new solution to improve our products.

You must be able to;



* Represent technical departments on NPD projects as a team member and mobilise resources within technical department to achieve project objectives
* Understand root of problem / customer requirements relative to products
* Interpret complex and scientific data into information for stakeholders
* Produce research that can be captured in a visible and easily accessible format
* Apply prescribed statistical tools to analyse data
* Complie with actions of annual safety plan and support departmental safety initiatives
