We are working with a leading IT service provider and systems integrator, based in Basingstoke. They are embarking on a major new Programme to upgrade and deliver a new UK wide secure communication system.

This is a new role to work as part of the PMO and deliver a range of regular PMO reports. You will gather information and key data relating to the status of projects and develop reports for external customers and internal stakeholders.

The role will report to the PMO Programme Manager and you'll have regular interaction with customers and key suppliers, you'll also oversee the work and day to day activities of a PMO Analyst.

Key activities include but are not limited to;



* Translating internal PMO information, status information and data into customer friendly reports. This will be in written and PowerPoint formats
* Attending internal & external programme status meetings to present progress and highlight key items for attention
* Actively managing RAID process, creating & using management statistics to drive timely resolutions & process improvement initiatives
* Ensure the programme plan accurately reflects up to date programme status, including necessary activities, milestones and dependencies
* Support definition, documentation and improvements to the programme governance

Required experience:-

· Experience working in a PMO environment in the IT or telecoms industry

· Good understanding of programme governance standards

· First class verbal and written communication skills

· Knowledge of MS Project, advanced PowerPoint

· Experience of creating & presenting customer reports

· Ability to drive process improvements through metrics
