job description

Do you want to work in a school that sees equal value in creative and core subjects?

Would you value a school environment that isn't focused solely on attainment and levels?

Could you see yourself working alongside a supportive team, with a head teacher who is fully invested in his staff's work/life balance?

If so, then this is the school for you!

This school is No. 1 in its catchment area. Pupils, staff and parents shout from the rooftops about how fun, friendly and vibrant their school is, and how much of a joy it is to walk through the gates every morning! Situated just outside the centre of town, it's a single-form entry- smaller than the average primary school, and so able to sustain a close-knit, community feel.

The existing team are passionate and dedicated, offering a broad and balanced curriculum that meets every pupil's individual needs, including mixed ability learners and SEN and EAL students. The school currently offers top-of-the-range resources and technology, including interactive whiteboards and laptops. Although fully invested in progressing all their staff members, they are looking for a teacher with experience for this particular vacancy, as the KS2 SATs are not far away.

The job of the successful candidate will be to take over the headteacher's Year 6 class, helping the children to excel. If you have experience in raising children's attainment and guiding them through KS2 assessments, then please do not hesitate to apply! The headteacher would like to appoint the new staff member as soon as possible and offer them a permanent contract from the outset. If this sounds appealing to you, please get in touch.
