Working as part of a busy buying Team for one of the most successful building contractors in the UK, this is an opportunity to develop you administration and procurement skills, providing assistance to the Buyer and Senior Buyer

Duties will include:



* Receiving requisitions by email and place orders with approved suppliers
* Liaise with site to organise material call offs
* Deal with price queries and amendments to existing orders in the company database
* Assist in preparation of monthly reporting figures
* Receive and distribute incoming procurement post and action accordingly

Experience and skills required:



* Proven experience in buying administration
* Computer literacy to include working knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Access Database and procurement systems preferably Oracle an advantage
* Good telephone Manner and organisation skills
* Excellent communicator and ability to multi-task and action concurrently.
* A Team Player but able to work with minimal supervision
* You should be honest and reliable and must work well under pressure
* Ability to deliver accurate data.
* Committed and pro-active with adherence to quality

This is an office based role but you may be required to visit sites and suppliers so a driving licence is essential
