Procurement Manager


Randstad Engineering are recruiting for a new, exciting opportunity. A position has arisen for a Procurement Manager for a prestigious engineering business.


The candidate will manage all Programme lead Procurement activities within the function; whilst being responsible for a team of Programme Buyers to ensure standard Procurement processes are rolled out across all site programmes. In addition, you will also be the senior escalation point for any Procurement Programme activities.

Key Responsibilities


* Managing the delivery, maintenance, integrity of Programme BOM to cost / budget and board paper; ensuring all changes to board paper are tracked through the entire life cycle of the programme
* Procurement Interface into site Programmes; managing both internal and external customers
* Responsible for the Procurement Programme Supplier Sourcing and Development Strategy, in line with Group
* Programme change control - devising and investigating Programme cost reduction, linked to site targets
* Accountable for all PO demands placed upon suppliers to ensure that Key Objectives of cost, quality and delivery are secured

Skills



* Able to demonstrate experience in Supply Chain Management at a senior level in an Aerospace environment
* Supplier Management
* Ability to work within a matrix managed business
* MCIPS
