Philips are looking for experienced Production Operatives to work on a production line that uses injection moulding to manufacture infant-feeding equipment.

Ideally, you will have a knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment and be able to work to production targets.

In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a shift allowance as this role works from Saturday to Monday on a rotating shift from 06:00 to 18:00, and from 18:00 to 06:00.

Week 1 - Saturday 06:00-18:00, Sunday 06:00-18:00, Monday 06:00-18:00.

Week 2 - Saturday 18:00-06:00, Sunday 18:00-06:00, Monday 18:00-06:00.

This role is based in Glemsford, near Sudbury, so you will need your own transport to get there.

The full job description is as follows:

You are responsible for;



* Ensuring excellent levels of Health & Safety and Quality standards are achieved at all times.
* Operating and building knowledge of equipment, participating in fault finding and first line maintenance activities, reporting to engineers and your team leader
* Working to production targets and ensuring minimal downtime and waste
* Identifying any opportunities for improvement in all activities and processes, and proposing this as appropriate.
* Completing and understanding production documentation

You are a part of a large team of operators, reporting into the team leader and production supervisor for Infant Feeding.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience;



* Ideally experience within a production or manufacturing environment
* An interest or passion for technology
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Experience of working within a multi-skilled team
