To carry out this role successfully, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

* Operate processing machinery and material handling equipment in a safe and productive manner, and to good standards of workmanship, in order to deliver the required levels of customer service
* Recognise relevant product ranges to facilitate prompt and accurate material selection and processing
* Support maintenance activities to facilitate operational productivity
* Handle all material - including checking stock records, labelling and storing - according to business requirements
* Be actively involved in own personal development plans to maximise performance in the role
* Ensure that own and team operations, including those undertaken on the Company's behalf by third party service providers, are conducted in manner which fully complies with health and safety, quality, environmental and corporate policies
* Ensure the organisation of stocks and appropriate records, to maintain productivity and safety
* Play an active role within the team to facilitate continuous improvement and overall team performance

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

A minimum of a GCSC qualification or equivalent (i.e. Essential Skills) in Maths, English and ICT is desirable.
