Do you have current or previous experience working as a production planner or analyst in a manufacturing environment?

We are looking to recruit a new member into our vibrant team down in Hadleigh, who can begin to plan months in advance using forcasting procedures to manage our production lines.

Job Role

You will ensure that the supply of raw materials and production and haulage capacity in both our plants are in line with the demand from our customers whilst minimising working capital requirement.

This will be achieved by analysing demand trends at SKU and geographical level and planning accordingly raw material requirements, production capacity and logistics capabilities.

Where the production planner role's time horizon is typically the coming two weeks, your time horizon will be between a month and a year.

Who are we looking for?

* Experience in supply chain management and/or production planning in a multi-site organisation using S&OP processes
* Highly structured and analytical mind with rigour and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to create and coordinate multi-departmental supply and demand processes to ensure the whole organisation is aligned
* Expertise in statistical analysis of demand patterns and management of supply (demand forecasting, calculating raw material safety stock levels and reorder points, ABC/XYZ analysis…)
* Ability to work in a fast-changing environment and to cope with pressure and work with uncertainty
