Are you a Production Planner who has experience in estimating? If you are looking for a new career we are looking for individuals just like you!

The role requires someone with a good knowledge and understanding of CNC and Precision Engineering, as the company specifically works with certain materials within these specialised fields.

The successful candidate will be required to work between Customer and Company delivering excellent communication between them, and following up any queries that may be required. Whilst doing so, you will also be required to work closely with management of the company to ensure that Targets, Quotations and Costs are accurate.

Responsibilities included:

* Acting as a member of the estimating team to understand client requirements and produce accurate quotations
* Creating production schedules to improve lean manufacturing processes
* Working towards targets as for the number of quotations given, with the correct information i.e. lead times and production times
* Working as part of a team in line with the company standards and ISO standards
* Overseeing budget control within the department
* Following up on enquiries and quotations to secure orders

Experience, qualifications and skills:

* Relevant Estimating and Production Planning experience
* Good communication skills
* Good IT Ability
* Proven background within a CNC / Precision Engineering industry or similar
* Full UK Driving License
