-5.45am - 2.15pm shift

-£22,000 - £28,000 OTE

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production Team Leader to join this market leading company. This full-time, permanent role is perfect for an experienced Production Team Leader or an experienced Production Operative looking to take their career to the next level.

Based in north Bristol, my client is one of the UK's leading packaging manufacturers with a wide range of products produced in their warehousing facilities. Producing BRC accredited catering and consumer products, this established company are known for providing high quality products and excellent customer service.

As Production Team Leader, your responsibilities will include;

* Leading, motivating and developing the team, to ensure planned output requirements/quality standards are met whilst ensuring all H&S guidelines are followed.
* Reviewing team performance regularly to identify areas for improvement, and encourage progress of individual team members through performance review.
* Achieving shift targets e.g. for line efficiencies, material usage variances, and absenteeism
* Ensure all site specific Quality, Housekeeping & Hygiene standards are achieved or exceeded.
* Develop team working across the factory applying continuous improvement principles.
* Accurately complete all required shift documentation for compliance against BRC and site specific quality standards.
* Ensure regular communication/briefing to provide the team with the relevant information to carry out their shift to maximum effect.
* Contribute to the planning, organisation, operation and installation of all new processes and equipment within the factory.
* Carry out Site Safety inspections and audits and supply to H&S committee for action.

We'd love to hear from you if you have good solid experience in a production supervisory capacity within an FMCG environment, preferably with the relevant filling & packaging line experience. You will need a demonstrable knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC, HACCP) and be IT literate to an intermediate level. In particular, this role requires a Production Team Supervisor with experience of setting adjustments and setting of lines.
