Established Site Manager with experience in a production environment?

We are looking to recruit a new Site Manager to take full responsibility of our Coventry manufacturing site.

Job Purpose

Integral part of the Sector Senior Team and Site Senior Team, working closely with customer service
and sales, to provide seamless service to the customer. To lead and manage the operational activity for the Site (planning, production, transport, maintenance), to achieve safety, quality and productivity standards and ensure timely delivery of good quality product. To ensure manufacturing capability develops in line with business plans and drive improvements in Safety, Health, Environmental & Risk (SHEAR), Quality & Productivity moving the site towards 0 harm. To contribute to the strategic deployment for Exterior Glass.


* Senior responsibility for site, which includes production as well as transportation
* Responsible for all manufacturing from the Coventry site
* Ensuring quality of productivity
* Direct responsibility for Production and Transport Managers
* Responsible for meeting set KPI's
* Performing daily catch up meetings with the Director to provide an update on performance

Who are we looking for?

* Relevant degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Buisness Discipline
* IOSH or NEBOSH certificate
* Production planning experience is essential
* Large people management experience essential
* Strong IT skills
* Good planning and organisational skills
* Manufacturing experience
