Production Technician

Are you looking for a new position to work within the Engineering Industry? If so then this might be the job for you as a Production Technician.

We require a Production Technician to join one of the UK's leading Defence suppliers.

Overall Summary:



* Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
* Follows written work instructions and must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools and equipment.
* Be willing to learn new skillsets
* Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organisation.

Primary and Essential Accountabilities



* Performs entry-level assembly functions, which may include: prep work, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies and internal inspection, typically working from drawings and Production Engineering Documents (PED's)
* Perform simple assembly builds with screws, washers, nuts and have basic understanding of build documentation and sequences.
* Be able to perform basic troubleshooting on assemblies if required
