Our client is a well-known Property Development company which is currently working on a number of residential developments

They are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can easily step into the business structure and start operating on the project from the start.







Job Description

As a Development Project Manager you will work closely with the rest of the development team in managing a vast number of external consultants and main contractors.

You will be involved with all aspects of pre-construction activities including demolition and appointing the contractor. You will then oversee (inclusive but not exclusive to) the formal tendering process, contract administration, permits and you will need to ensure the successful delivery of the construction programme for each projects.
As a developer you will coordinate a large external consultant team including Architectural, Engineering and Commercial.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage design teams in the development of design solutions to planning application and approval;
- Manage external Town Planners/Planning consultants to help achieve planning consent on all projects which are being managed from early design stages.
- Assist with the compilation of tender documents, and critically reviewing tender returns, contract negotiations, award of contracts and client reporting;
- Initiation and development of project documentation, programmes, master budget etc.;
- Design and produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects;
- Manage reporting on the contractors progress against the contract programme;
- Direct consultant teams to ensure that the contractor's design is done in compliance with the contract.







The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered you must demonstrate:

- A successful background as a Development Project Manager delivering prime Residential projects
- A proven track record in successfully being able to manage the full life-cycle of construction projects, from inception through to completion;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills are a necessity.
