A new Project Manager position has just arrived in Essex!



* Location: Chelmsford, Essex
* Contract type: Temp to Perm
* Start date: ASAP
* Duration: Ongoing
* Salary/Rate: up to £340/day depending on experience

The Company

A regional specialist fit out / refurbishment contractor based in Essex, they specialise in Commercial refurb and fit out jobs to the value of £5m. Their remit covers all of London and the South East.

The Project

An office Cat A fit out to the value of £2m. This job requires a high spec finish with all internal packages.

The Role

As the Project Manager for the development you will be responsible for the management of a Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager along with internal works subcontract packages which include drylining, painting and decorating, carpets, suspended ceilings, FF+E and M+E. Your role will include but not be limited to:



* Report directly to visiting Contracts Manager.
* Produce detailed programmes of works in line with the annual programme set out by the Contracts Manager & Commercial Manager.
* Liaise with the sale team to deliver the project on time, within budget
* Manage resources of the project to maximise output and deliver to programme.
* Control subcontract packages.
* Health & safety management and promotion in line with the company policies and procedures.
* Regularly review with the team progress against programme.
* Chair subcontractor site progress meetings
* Create and maintain accurate site reports.
* Quality inspections.

About You



* You will have gained circa 8+ years experience, ideally working for a similar company
* Have the correct CITB and First Aid qualifications for the position.
* Be able to control subcontract packages.
* Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages.
* Working knowledge of Asta Power Projects and document control software.
* Recent and relevant experience.
* Strong organisational skills with proven time management skills.
