Randstad CPE are currently recruiting for a family run fit out contractor in Leicestershire, they undertake projects ranging from £50,000 up to £1m across a variety of sectors including Hotels, Student Accommodation‎, Education and private sector clients.

The role: Project Manager

* Attend pre start meetings with the client before the contract is drawn up
* Check measure and spot check plots ahead of commencement of fitting
* Confirm installation schedule with site team and communicate call off requirements
* Reporting to a visiting Operations Manager they will be required to ensure smooth
* Construction/ fitting process including managing of all site labour and suppliers
* Management of construction / fitting programme
* Minimising/eliminating potential programme delays. Identify potential problems at
* Sites and try to resolve them before they become apparent to the client/impact progress.

The Project Manager will also:

* Liaise with the client associated consultants
* Be able to chair regular progress meetings.
* Visit all live sites allocated as often as is reasonably practical
* Making contact with the Site Manager and the fitters during each visit.


* Training given but understanding of RFI and management of variations will be required
* Training given but PM will be expected to complete and issue monthly valuations to the client each month
* Training given but weekly progress reports against progress will be required

Relevant qualifications:
CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid, Full and clean driving license
