This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work for an organisation that helps governments and employers design and deliver services to solve complex challenges caused by social and technological change.

The Project Manager leads the design and delivery of projects including new contract bid and mobilisation, internal transformation, improvement initiatives and strategic projects relating to other business units within the company.


* Scope, obtain approval for, plan, design and deliver projects within agreed tolerances
* Define project scope, develop and agree initiation documents through the correct governance structure, and produce other collateral as required
* Organise and facilitate workshops as required in support of all project planning activities.
* Build a stakeholder management plan and engage stakeholders from across the business to contribute to, lead work streams and consult on project work to ensure the optimal results are achieved for the business.
* Drive delivery and execute the project according to the project plan, within the time, cost and quality parameters defined in the project initiation document.
* Complete all necessary tools, templates and reporting documents per the companys Lifecycle Management Framework and manage approval to the correct governance process.
* Engage stakeholders from across the business to contribute to, lead work streams and consult on project work to ensure the optimal results are achieved for the business.


* Exhibits the breadth and depth of experience in project leadership to form the foundations of a highly effectively working relationship with the Head of Portfolio Office and other senior stakeholders.
* Sufficient demonstrable Project Management experience to be able to operate with no day to day direction from line manager.
* Demonstrates high competency levels in all aspects of project leadership, including project lifecycles, methodologies, techniques, principles and knowledge areas.
* Capable of managing concurrent complex multi-discipline projects involving multiple, dispersed delivery teams in different locations.
* Strong facilitation, analytical and strategic thinking skills - capable of identifying likely strategic threats to project success and taking the necessary proactive action to resolve.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and deliver against a number of priorities, and the ability to flex priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
* Ability to work under pressure, remain calm and composed without compromising on quality or deadlines, particularly in complex risk scenarios.
* Reacts positively to change, supports revised methods and priorities.
* Displays a strong energy for leading the project team.
* A strong customer service approach, committed to exceeding customer expectations.
