Are you an immediately available Accounts Payable clerk? Looking for an exciting 3/ 4 month opportunity within a large reputable charity?

My Client is currently looking for a solid Accounts Payable officer to join their team on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Transactions Processing Manager you will be working alongside a dynamic and fast paced finance team. You will be joining the Charity at an exciting stage of its development and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team.

Within this role you will be solely responsible for the accounts payable function, and will ensure the timely payment and recording of invoices and expenses.
In addition you will manage the accounts payable inbox and act as the first point of contact for all enquiries. As the Accounts Payable Officer you will have experience of all aspects of accounts payable, and an ability to confidently liaise with budget holders.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

*Review and entering high volume of invoices and expenses
*Prepare and review payment check runs per timetable
*Arrange for urgent payments and Post D/D payments on a timely basis.
*First point of contact for accounts payable, including researching and
*Resolving invoice discrepancies and any issues.
*Reconciling monthly payment cards

Education and Experience

*2 years accounts payable experience
*Experience of mid-tier accounting software package e.g. Great Plain; Oracle; Sun Systems.
*Strong Excel and IT Skills
