Role : QA Plasma Quality Specialist

Hours : 9-5

Pay : £20,800 - £24,500

Benefits : 25 Days Holiday, Pension, Life Assurance

Location : Elstree, Hertfordshire

Roles and Responsibilities :

Review all plasma records to establish that plasma products are in compliance with PMF, relevant licences, specifications, Pharmacopoeia. and GMP prior to release.

To undertake the QA review on behalf of the QP to ensure the safety and quality of plasma before releasing for use

To ensure a secure plasma system operates, including notifications, look backs and traceability.

Ensure regulatory commitments, problems and changes are dealt with in a formalised manner via the QMS, adequately communicated (especially to the relevant Qualified Person) and relevant records raised and resolved in a manner commensurate with risk.

Essential Skills :



* Collate and critically review batch-records for compliance with licence, specifications and GMP.
* Ensure concerns regarding product safety and quality are drawn to the attention of colleagues and appropriate staff including QA management and Qualified Person.
* To undertake QA work related to objectives as directed by the QA management and Qualified Person.
* Prioritise incoming work so that batch progress is maintained to lead times.
* Identify upcoming rate limiting steps in review so that delays are minimised.
* Participate in quality improvement measures and CAPA actions to improve quality of plasma supply chain.
* Maintain a system for prioritising work to ensure effective work flow and action align to business priorities
