Are you looking to work for an international manufacturing company who are the leaders in manufacturing synthetic and natural colouring for various industries?

They are currently looking for a Quality Control Technician to control the quality of incoming materials and also, the manufactured products.

Duties and Responsibilities:



* Checking the quality of incoming materials (raw materials and packaging materials) by carrying out analysis.
* Data entry of results using SAP.
* Requesting supplier certificate of analysis to relevant departments.
* Working with various departments to resolve paperwork, product or delivery issues.
* Arranging external laboratory analysis where appropriate and following up on results.
* Preparing production sheet for each batch of products (calculation considering the purity of the used colour batch).
* Control of the production conditions of "complicated" products, like emulsions of natural colours.
* Correction of errors in products where relevant.


* Checking the information provided within the Production Sheet such as batch numbers, weights, CCP signatures are completed correctly.
* Weekly calibration of laboratory and warehouse balances .
* Working in conjunction with Quality Assurance personnel in maintenance, reviews and improvements to systems and procedure.

Requirements:



* Degree in Chemistry or any other relevant science degree.
* Industry experience is advantageous.
* Experience with SAP is advantageous.
* Must have keen eye for detail and be highly organised.
* Able to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively.
* Computer literate - Ability to use computers and computer systems for analytical equipment and office based tasks.
