Have you got previous experience in the residential sector? Have you got a degree in Quantity Surveying?

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Aberdeen team within a house building company.

As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for:

* Setting up Contract Insurances with our insurers.

* Awarding Sub-Contract agreements.

* Re-measuring work using site measurement, the measurement from drawings, information from Site Agents/Bonus Department.

* Ensuring Contract Guarantee Bond is provided via Commercial Manager.
* Paying Sub-Contractors their appropriate monthly payments.
* Agreeing Contract Final Account with Clients' Surveyor.
* Attending, contributing to and minuting Project Team Meetings.
* Attending and contributing to Clients' site meetings.
* Informing Sub-Contractors of Contract variations.
* Provision of cost advice to Design Consultants.
* Pricing insurance claims.
* Reporting to Chief Surveyor on job performance via cost/value comparisons.
* Preparing Cash Flow Forecasts and Surveying Reports for the Commercial Manager.

To join us, we're looking for:

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

* A member of the RICS
* Sales and negotiating skills
* CSCS card holder
* 5 years + Quantity Surveying experience within a relevant sector in the Construction industry
* IT literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Health & Safety knowledge
* Budget Compilation & Management
* Analytical & problem-solving skills
