Job: A rare opportunity has presented itself for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading financial planning practice in the City of Brighton & Hove.

My clients are specialist Tax advisors to Investors, developers and landlords operating within the commercial property sector. Due to continued growth the Director is keen to bring in house a Quantity Surveyor who can work alongside the specialist tax consultants to assist and advise their client on capital tax allowances. This is a unique opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of a niche sector of the industry.

Due to the nature of this role my client is open to speaking to a graduate level qs' or indeed a more senior Quantity Surveyor ,chartered or APC Training. There is scope for this role to really develop as the client is keen to assist in your professional development and will offer full support.

Duties will include:

* Cost planning
* Building contract documentation cost analysis
* Preparation of investment and property valuation reports for capital allowances purposes for clients
* Analysing fixed asset additions to identify expenditure qualifying for capital allowances

This role will suit an established QS or a graduate starting out in industry, whats important to my client is the drive of the individual and and the ability to provide sound, professional advice to the loyal client base.
