Are you a Quantity Surveyor? Looking for a new role? Have experience with Telecoms?

Randstad are currently working for a Quantity Surveyor working in Exeter on a permanent basis. This role is in the clients Telecoms business area. Reporting into the Commercial Manager, the Quantity Surveyor will have the ownership of the regions commercial activities, including applications, cost management, forecasting and WIP management.

Key tasks;

- Ensuring orders are placed accurately, GRNs raised and spend is within the set forecast spend and relevant to the region.

- Setting up and managing subcontract agreements, regular meetings and final accounts.

- Driving WIP reduction through application checks.

- Ensuring best practice and accuracy in applications.

- CVR reporting for incorporation into monthly management accounts.

- Ownership of weekly costs and reporting.

Skills and experience;

- Commercially aware with past knowledge of financial control.

- A hands on approach with proven ability to run own jobs.

- Accurate with good attention to detail and highly organized.

- IT literate and experience in working with MS office applications and cost control systems.
