What are your responsibilities?

* Leadership and management of the home
* To contribute to the assessment, referral and admissions process
* To ensure that all staff are adequately trained, inducted and supervised in line with OFSTED regulations
* To develop strategies to increase community presence
* To fulfil obligations set out in the quality care standards
* To build a culture of team cohesion
* To promote equal opportunities
* To maintain an environment which enhances the safeguarding of young people

What is required?

* NVQ Level 5 or Social Work Degree / equivalent
* Registered managerial experience in a children's home across at least 2 years
* Experience in children's services
