Repairs Procurement Programme Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Repairs Procurement Programme Manager based in a Local Authority in East London.

Post: Repairs Procurement Programme Manager

Rate: Circa £650 - £750 a day

We are looking for an experienced Repairs Procurement Programme Manager to provide an options appraisal for consideration of the various ways in which the repairs service including works to vacant properties could be delivered for cabinet approval and give consideration and recommendation of the appropriate form of contract.

The main duties of the role are as followings;

* Preparation of the contract documents for the delivery of the new service.
* Responsibility for the procurement process to appoint the new service provider(s) for cabinet approval.
* Management of the project plan to meet key deliverables and timescales, including full risk assessment and mitigation.
* Development of an implementation plan for the new repairs contract arrangements.
* Implementation of the new repairs contract arrangements including oversight of the mobilisation.
* Consultation with key stakeholders, including elected members and residents.


* Experience of working in Social Housing.
* Understanding of the importance of resident satisfaction in a delivery of a housing maintenance service.
* Experience of developing and implementing different models of service delivery that meet customer demands.
* Experience of working with and developing appropriate and deliverable KPIs for housing repair and void contracts.
